“You need not leave your room. Remain sitting at your table and listen. You need not even listen, simply wait. You need not even wait, just learn to become quiet, and still, and solitary. The world will freely offer itself to you to be unmasked. It has no choice; it will roll in ecstasy at your feet.” – Franz Kafka
I have always enjoyed this quote and piece of advice. It is easy for me to not leave my room, especially when I have my iMac waiting at my disposal! We are living in an amazing time. I believe we are arriving at a place where there are no more secrets, and we are all connected through the web. Google knows almost everything about us, and it won’t be forgetting any time soon. While creating this website I frequently considered this point, and it has led me to share more with the reader than just information related only to “my business”.
This is more than a business website.
Yes, this is the home for Path To Rhythm, and you will find plenty of information explaining the services that Path To Rhythm has to offer here. However, this site is also set up as an interactive blog. I will be updating on a regular basis, and the blogging format is an incredible platform for me to share my perspective, thoughts, and experiences with all of you. It is my intention to have on-going dialogues that are thought provoking and inspiring, and give you a reason to return to this site.
By starting on the “blog” page, you will be able to read posts.
The posts on this site revolve around…
- * Events- Documenting an event that Path To Rhythm has facilitated. Sharing pics, possibly video, and stories to create a community and sense of connection with readers and event participants.
* Education- sharing my passion for teaching, my thoughts and experiences. As well as exploring how music and drumming can be incorporated into the ways that we choose to educate children.
* Positive inspiration, conscious living – balancing physical, emotional, and spiritual health. (I have to admit, being married to a Yoga teacher has rubbed off on me.)
*Summer Camp culture- updates, articles, stories and information related to all things summer camp.
How to get the most out of this site…
Stay updated! This is a nicer way of saying “subscribe”, for me personally subscribe brings up the idea of committing and paying for a subscription. My goal here is to simply stay connected and create a community among readers. For those of you who are new to the idea of subscribing to a blog, there are two common ways.
1. Via email- You can be automatically notified whenever there is a new post by an email. The email will include a direct link that you can click on to go to the new post.Subscribe to Adam Issadore’s Path To Rhythm by Email
2. RSS- This is my preferred method. An RSS feed allows you to automatically be updated by appearing in your RSS reader as a new post. If you do not yet have an RSS reader, I recommend using one. There are many available, I happen to use Google Reader.
Lastly, share your voice!
Read the posts, look around, explore, and take your time. When you are ready, add your thoughts, questions, ideas, and comments in the box entitled “Comments” that appears at the bottom of each post or page.
I look forward to hearing from you and sharing my own Path To Rhythm.
Thank you for visiting.
With gratitude,
Adam
