Our first trip to Camp Wayne was for the counselor and staff orientation. I facilitated an event for over 150 counselors and staff in the rec hall. Counselors drummed, danced, and got a chance to meet each other , all while staying in rhythm.
We had a great time returning for the second time this summer to Camp Wayne for Girls to drum with campers. We met most of the campers for the first time last summer, the summer of 2011, and it felt great to be greeted by cheers and drumming on the tables when we walked into the dining hall this year!
Camp Wayne is located in Preston Park PA. In addition to the campers and staff having a great attitude, the grounds of the camp are stunning. The view of the lake and the fresh air make it easy to want to stay at Camp Wayne.
We drummed with all of the age groups. New to the program this year was a chance for campers and counselors to dance. Check out this group having fun and dancing The Wobble:

Adam- Can’t thank you enough for such a wonderful day. You clearly have a passion for what you are doing and our kids definitely picked up on that passion! It was so refreshing to see them experience ‘real’ music and drumming in such raw, live state without headphones or electronics. Thank you again for bringing your talent, energy and creativity to Camp Wayne!
