Things to consider when implementing a successful virtual program.

-be sure to put clear terms in place the same way you would with an in person program.

-Understand the format that the program will be using. A Zoom video call will have the option to have students appear on screen. A “One To Many” format will not have students appearing on screen. This is more of a one way livestream.

-If students will be appearing on screen (Zoom call format), consider having parents sign a release agreement.

-Organize a schedule with the Administration of your school and be sure to communicate with teachers if they are expected to prepare anything. (Most programs will not require teachers to prepare).

-Consider having a make-up day or alternative date if for some reason the technology does not work properly.

-COMMUNICATION is crucial ! Be sure to confirm details with everyone involved.
